Speyside offers some of the world's best golf - very much
	underestimated until tried.

	Traditionally, the James Braid designed,

	Boat of Garten Golf Course
	has
always been popular amongst golfers who appreciate a stern challenge
combined with unrivalled scenic beauty, and of course the occasional passing
	of the Strathspey steam train.

	The recently built

	Spey Valley Golf Course
in Aviemore is fantastic. A real tough challenge, which given time to mature
will surely become one of Scotland’s top competition courses.

	Kingussie,

	Newtonmore
	and

	Grantown
	on spey
offer very pleasant 18 hole courses, and for a more leisurely day out,

	Carrbridge
	and

	Abernethy
	are delightful 9 hole venues.

	For a bit of fun,

	Craggan Golf Club
is a par 3 - 9 hole course – great for beginners or for a fun day out.

Further afield, there are great courses at Forres, Elgin,
	Lossiemouth, Inverness, Rosemarkie and Dornoch.
